One consolidated dashboard for the whole practice

The screen a principal opens on Monday: what is owed, what is running late, who is loaded, what the month looks like.

The Monday problem

The information needed to run a design practice is rarely missing. It is scattered: receivables in Tally or a spreadsheet, project status in someone's head, hours in a notebook, payroll in a separate file. Assembling it takes half a day, so it gets assembled once a quarter — usually after the decision that needed it.

What is on the dashboard

  • Money in and money out, with what is invoiced and what is still outstanding.
  • Receivables ageing — who has been sitting on your invoice the longest.
  • Projects by stage, with the ones slipping surfaced rather than buried.
  • Team load and hours logged against projects.
  • Project profitability, so the busy project and the paying project can be told apart.

Because it draws from the same records the studio already maintains — invoices, timesheets, project stages — nothing has to be re-entered to make the dashboard true.

Why this is the point

Most studio software answers “what happened”. The reason to consolidate is to answer “what should I do this week”: chase this client, move this person, slow this project, raise this draw. That call is only possible when money, work and people are on the same screen at the same time.

Common questions

Is the dashboard different per plan?
No. Every plan includes every feature. Plans differ only on projects, active members and storage.
Can team members see everything on it?
No — access is role based, so financial views can be limited to the people who should see them.
